Elizabeth and Chris’s destination wedding in Hawaii was incredible, to say the least. Not only was the JW Marriott Ihilani Resort and Spa a perfect venue, with the Pacific trade winds blowing through the grounds, the waves crashing behind the ceremony site, and the warm Hawaiian sun soaking into the wedding guests, but the couple was truly amazing! Elizabeth and Chris trusted me completely, giving me the freedom to do my best work, and I’m so happy with the way this wedding turned out… not that I’d ever complain about shooting a destination wedding in Hawaii!

Elizabeth and Chris were daring and adventurous from the start, and the moment I found out they were having a destination wedding in Hawaii with 150 guests, I knew their friends and family had seen how warmhearted they are as a couple, and no one wanted to miss them say their vows.

The JW Marriott Ihilani Resort and Spa was a great backdrop, both inside and out, for Elizabeth and Chris’s day, especially juxtaposed against the beautiful nature of Ko Olina, Oahu.

The resort was just steps away from these rocks, where we took all the photos afterward. The wedding party was a blast–exactly what you’d expect with two people as awesome as Elizabeth and Chris.
